Next Level Souvenir Shopping in Boston

Having visited 6 states in the last 10 days I’ve acquired my fair share of magnets, postcards, t-shirts, and other touristy memorabilia, but while I was in Boston, I had to check out the shopping scene for items other than regional trinkets. At the recommendation of a few friends and colleagues, I visited both Copley Place and Newbury Street to explore what the city had to offer regarding more traditional retail. I had a great time, and I was not disappointed by any of the locations.

The story of this belt is actually pretty cool. I originally wanted a shawl from Louis Vuitton (which I still have my eye on!), but their location in Copley Place is under construction, so they have a small pop up shop which has limited stock. After not being able to find the color shawl I wanted I wandered into Gucci to look around.

I already own one Gucci belt (full review post here) with gold hardware that I absolutely love, and so I asked if it came in silver because there was not silver on display. The Sales Associate mentioned it was being discontinued, but they may have a few in the back and asked for my size. A few minutes later she came out with this beauty, and I had to have it!

Nordstrom Rack

I am a Nordstrom Rack fanatic! I frequently shop at my local store and visit different locations anytime I travel as I feel it is a great place to find quality items at affordable prices. The Newbury Street location was a bit overwhelming to me. It was setup on two floors, the first floor was all accessories and home, while the second floor was all apparel and shoes.

I came across these super comfortable Me Too flats which are no longer available online, but I have linked the same flat but a different color. I loved these the moment I put them on!

When I was in accessories, I picked up a beautiful Kendra Scott necklace that was on an INSANE clearance deal that matches a few other pieces I have from her.

This experience at the Newbury Street location was one of my favorite experiences shopping I have ever had! The Sales Associates were kind, attentive, and hilarious! I am saving up for a larger Chanel purchase next year, but I fell in love with these earrings.

Alex & Ani

You could say I am a collector of sorts when it comes to the ALEX AND ANI brand. I love all of the beautiful charms they have available and tend to gravitate towards these as my travel mementos as well as gifts. I gave all of my bridesmaids initial bracelets from their line, and I still see them wearing the bracelets over 4 years later! I came across the Newport bracelet when I was at the gift shop for The Breakers Mansion and the other two bracelets I purchased at their Newbury Street location.
