Boston Views and Fenway Friends

We made it to Boston! On our entire trip, this was the one city I was the most excited about seeing. When I was 16 my anthem was Boston, by Augustana and I was convinced like the song said that I wanted to get out of California and go to this place I had only seen online because this song convinced me (and off of my teenage hormones) that this was THE place to be to find myself. Clearly, that didn’t happen, but now 13 years later here I am and I’m glad that I am here as an adult!

The Westin, Copley Place

I prefer Westin hotels when I travel because they typically have great amenities and I cannot resist the Westin Heavenly Bed. Since I travel pretty often for work, I am lucky enough to get upgrades here and there. This time we were placed in a corner room that has the most beautiful views of the city.

Fenway Park, Boston Red Sox vs. Houston Astros

When we first started planning this trip, my husband had a tour of Fenway Park at the top of our list of things to do. Since the ALCS Championship Series is going on I thought, why not just go to a game! I am so glad we went. We were able to see one of my favorite people in the world, my colleague and friend Queen Jen (aka Jortz), and have dinner with her, have her show us around and really experience the game with a true Red Sox fan and her wonderful husband and family. It was a once in a lifetime experience, and as you can see from the pictures below my husband was beaming with joy and that made me so happy.
